Новые Композиторы (New Composers), an electronic duo formed in 1983 in Leningrad. Their debut album The Outer Space was an original mix of music fragments, technical noises, ambient sounds, and sounds of nature and space. Insect Culture (1985), their collaboration with Sergey Kuryokhin, was highly acclaimed by different avantgarde musicians, including Frank Zappa.
