This is a re-release of the famous Baligh Hamdi & Magid Khan record "Indo-Arabic Variations". This album is a milestone in both arabic and indian music. The idea for this record occured when Baligh Hamdi, famous Egyptian composer, heard the excellent sitar player Magid Khan when Khan visited Cairo. Born Baligh Abdel Hamid Hamdi Morsi in October 7, 1932 Shubra district of Cairo. His father was a professor of physics at King Fuad I University (now Cairo University).
