Transatlantique is an album of popular music from the twenties and thirties. It includes Kurt Weill and Berthold Brecht's Mackie Messer (Mack the Knife) in German and two lovely French songs La Mer and Ces Petites Choses (These Foolish Things). There are a couple of modern pieces included but in the style of: Anne Dudley's inspired Jeeves and Wooster theme and a composition by Graham Dalby I'd Sooner Be A Crooner. The orchestra is ten-piece and was sponsored by SAUR and released by President Records in 1993 and is still selling.
