I Saw the Sun is a compilation of music by british shogeaze/dream pop group Slowdive . It features numerous songs and instrumentals varying in style from the band’s characteristic dream pop, featured in Souvlaki and Just for a Day to more ambient sounds which can be heard in their third studio album Pygmalion . Finished in 1996, altough none of the songs were ever officially released by the band.
