What's Left Remains was formed in December 2006 by school friends Michael Reynolds, Sean Green and Daniel Clark. After recruiting a number of drummers, they finally settled on Ryan Wallace, a 12 year-old jazz-trained drummer from their secondary school. Despite their average age of 14 years old, the band set to work writing and rehearsing, often rehearsing four times a week, swiftly writing around 12 songs under the name Heal.
