Created in mid-2006, Venona Pers is the brainchild of two like-minded musicians, Jonathan Hill and Grant Weston (echosonic, Viejos Hombres de Abejón) based in Surrey, UK. The aim is to create a blend of guitars and computer technology to produce sumptuous blissed out noise laced with bucolic acoustic guitar textures. The new full-length album - The Past is a Foreign Country - was released in October 2010 and the band hope for some live sets in the SE of th UK to support the release.
