It’s a night of experimentalism and exercises in improvisation, structure and decomposition. FENNESZ returns to the Empty Bottle after more than a decade. His latest solo album, Black Sea, is the sort of album that unfolds slowly over long periods of attentive listening – you have to live with it for a little while. The album was released via the experimental Vienna-based label Mego and further ensures FENNESZ’s respected position in the experimental electronic music scene. After playing with the RHYS CHATHAM TRIO at this years’ AiMM, DAVID DANIELL returns to the Bottle performing tonight with FRANK ROSALY. A MALE show can feature any number of contributing noise-makers and musicians, so every show is a unique, not-to-miss experience opening up a night of serious adventures of audio pioneers.
