Pagan-metal band called "Veda" was founded in 2005. Since than the group has given dozens of concerts and divided the stage with such great bands as Arkona, Gods Tower, Smuta, Tumulus and many others. «Veda» released its first album under the title «Taynikh dorog pozabyty sledy» on the 15th of September 2012 on SoundAge label. The album is woven of the melodies, born in the depths of dense forests, laments of wild winds and parables furtively narrated by steppe fog. Everything was interlaced together with care, robed in severe heaviness of guitar riffs and uncompromising gusts of drum rage, entwined with fancy keyboard tunes, alternating with dance flute tinges, and decorated with tender girl singing, which interchanges with thundering roar. The band aims to tell about the wisdom of ancestors, lost under burdens of centuries, about the forgotten heroic deeds of honorable forefathers and the beauty of Russian lands, it tries to revive the memory of generations and turn descendants' eyes on the ancient faith in its primordial innocence and mild grandeur.
