Biography
7th day is a band from Kyiv, Ukraine that makes melodic alt-pop-rock, in which harsh guitar sounds and electronics are harmoniously combined. The band is at the new level of musicality: they manage to further develop the aesthetics of Radiohead and Coldplay, but advance it with their ingenious, fancy arrangements and unusual timbres. The band members have an easy explanation for the name of their band: “7th day is a great day of the week because it is a day off, the apex of world creation. The name is English entirely for phonetic reasons. It just sounds nicer this way. 7th day sing equally well in both Russian and Ukrainian. The soloist has a very unique, high and beautiful voice - people often confuse it with female vocals and compare it with those of Ville Valo from HIM.
