Nikita Volodimirovich Alekseev (Born 18/05/1993, Kyiv, Ukraine) is an Ukrainian singer and songwriter of Russian and Belarusian ancestry better known as Alekseev.
Alekseev started his solo career in 2014 after placing as a semifinalist on season four of “Голос країни” (English: The voice of the Country), the Ukrainian version of the Dutch TV show “The Voice”.
In September 2015, Alekseev released his biggest hit, ‘Пьяное солнце’
(English: Drunken sun). The song was a huge hit in Russia and Ukraine, topping the Russian iTunes chart 6 weeks in row and receiving the YUNA award.
In 2018, Alekseev represented Belarus in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘Forever’.
