Biography
Bloody Anal Yeast Infection was formed in late 2002 and ceased to exist as of mid-2005 when it was renamed Bayi. Concieved as a harsh, mysogynistic one man cybergrind project, Bloody Anal Yeast Infection has seen a constant flux of additional members throughou it's 6 year existence, mainly vocalists and bassists. The current line up consists of two men (a vocalist and a guitarist) and they occasionally record and release new material.
Contrary to "popular" opinion the name Bayi was not conceived from the acronym for Bloody Anal Yeast Infection, rather it means either "friendship" or "love" in the languages of several pacific island nations and it's the irony of these definitions and the coincidence of the acronym that spurred the name change.
