I will ALWAYS appreciate the single version more than the album version. The single version has everything, and it's more raw.

Still remember the day this was released (the single version). Shit was insane for me back then, as i didn't know all that much about Extreme Metal back then. Still a sick, kickass song to this day!

This is one of the best metal singles of the last ten years. And I agree with forfrosne; both versions of the song are amazing. It may help that I heard the album version first, but I still don't think the single version would work quite as well in the context of the album. In the context of the single, though, the single version is definitely amazing too.

This and Different Sense sum up the new Dir en Grey so well. Malevolent, heavy as hell, and bass-heavy. Toshiya's awesome.

In the album version the bass was increased, which is what the band is trying to move towards in their sound. When the bass was completely audible at their live it was amazing! The single the guitars were more present.

I like the mix of the vocals better on the album but everything else about the single better.

I was a big fan of this song since it's release. But I must say I like the new mix of Dum Spiro Spero better as the single-version.

Even though I enjoy their earlier songs, I like this new direction they're heading in. Hopefully, we can see Dir en Grey tour America with more metal bands now. Oh, and children, you can't put Dir en Grey into a single genre. Good day.
