it's very faint, but there is some fuzz/cracking on the track, which IMO just ruins the tranquility of the song.

there's some slight white noise in the song (cracks, etc) that you can't unhear once you hear em.

yeah, i think that's the track clipping. i can't remember off the top of my head but i'm pretty sure there's another DP track where you can hear this very soft clipping thing going on.

To anyone, like me who always thought this beautiful song was way too short I found a 10 minute version looped and edited on Soundcloud called "Infinite Nightvision" at http://soundcloud.com/surindravg/infinite-nightvision-daft-punk and not a bad job either. Agree with everyone else how much it reminds me of 10cc's great classic as I can't listen to one now without hearing the other.
