The first part of this song shows a seemingly sober Drake going into a club ready to have a blast.
After the beat switch, the song transitions into the second part. Drake seems to give in to the club life because he’s in too deep. Future comes in to drop a verse.
It shows similarities to the song “Swimming Pools” by Kendrick Lamar with its seemingly introspective lyrics that has a beat that screams “club life”.
The song also includes Houston, Texas, references, as we can hear in the 1st verse and the interlude, at this point we’re aware that Drake just loves Texas, given the number of references he has done in the past, especially in ”Nothing Was The Same”.
