THE WAR is the fourth full-length studio album by South Korean boy group EXO. It was released on July 18, 2017. It is the follow-up to For Life, their fifth extended play, released in December 2016. The album contains two discs; the first disc having the Korean versions of the songs, and the second disc with the Chinese versions. Both discs contain nine tracks each. Ko Ko Bop was promoted as the album's title track. It is their first album to be released without the participation of member Lay.
