despite their short-lived time as a group, it's truly amazing how much iz*one has done, has achieved, and how great the members are doing now. Whether it's through solo work or in new groups, the girls are thriving, as they should! And with song like Panorama, SSOTS, La vie en rose, etc., their catalog is still so fresh amongst kpop stans. i would love to re-live iz*one with a more light heart, because in 2018 - 2021 i was so angry with the whole manipulation stuff, that i didn't enjoyed them when they were active. i just couldn't move on lol i just couldn't see yuri, chaewon, yena and yujin without rolling my eyes because i knew their companies paid for their positions. nowdays i re-watch their stuff with more love and a cozy nostalgia. either way, sometimes when i think about the flop career chowon is having, i feel very very sad, because if she was in iz*one she would be in such a high position right now in 4th gen, just like sakura, yujin, wonyoung and chaewon :\

cube is awful, and i know a lot of people like to give credit of gidle success 100% to soyeon, but cube must have done something right for them to have this type of success, like their contract with lol for example was a huge win and made gidle more known outside kpop bubble. 4minute and btob were hit groups too, and pentagon had some hits with korean gp as well, so i think cube is like hit or miss. if chowon was in iz*one she would be debuting at the same time as le sserafim and ive, which was/is an era of korean public being pop-timistic torwards girlgroups, so her group would already have that in their favor. and if the music were as good as lightsum's but with the exposure of iz*one, the dominance would be easy, because lightsum has some of the best 4th gen music (sadly, people dont care about them, but they are GREAT)

teve um ranking que yujin caiu de #2 pra #4 e aí fez um discurso super mal agradecido reclamando kkk aí a coreia pegou ranço dela e aí ela despencou de vez pra fora do top12, aí magicamente na final voltou pro top5... estranho. eu chuto que essas 4 são as manipuladas porque elas não eram fan favorite mas tem um destaque absurdo no grupo, sempre cantam refrão, pegam as melhores partes, tem muito tempo de tela, e nenhuma delas era bem votada no programa tirando a yujin até a metade - a yena foi bem votada nos dois primeiros eps e depois nunca mais entrou no top12, a yuri só entrou no primeiro episódio, e a chaewon NUNCA entrou (mas pode muito bem ser a minju no lugar da yujin, não descarto essa chance) kaeun e chowon mereciam no mínimo uma reparação financeira milionária

i dont know if you saw the day the finale was aired and the lineup was settled, but from twitter, to telegram, to k-forums, to j-forums... everybody was angry, frustrated or feeling robbed - me personaly, i was all at the same time lol. not only because sakura clearly was robbed the first place (the wonyoung winning video had a brutal ratio of dislikes x likes, and awful comments directed at her) but because kaeun, miyu, miru and chowon got their places robbed (i personally think they were switched for yuri, yena, chaewon and yujin, but some people were talking about minju instead of yujin) also it was clear that chaeyon position was switched for clout as well, bc there's no way she ended up at 12, i think her actual position was inside top5 at least but gladly they didn't kicked her out. some people were able to bounce back and enjoy the group either way, but everybody who watched produce48 weekly felt a bad taste in their mouths for at least some months
