Discovering this band even more today listening to their first album feels like the first time i discovered Isis. Blown away.

Such an amazing band. Only One is my favourite track of Kylesa, those riffs in the second part are incredibly heavy and beautiful.

King Gizzard had 2 drummers on their albums until 2021 or so, so that should give you about 30 albums worth

Glad that they hung 'em up when they did. They were still putting out solid albums, but were on a downward arc. Here's to hoping for a kick ass reunion in a few years!

Ultra violet is really good, but I think Static Tension and To Walk a Middle Course are their best albums

Surprised to see people think their music has steadily declined. I think Kylesa just get better n better. Exhausting Fire slays, crushes, and is beautiful.

singing in tune is preferrable even if you're in psychedelic metal band. Night Drive could have been much better.

Don't really mind the direction they went in, but exhausting fire is definitely a bit of a letdown compared to the two albums that came before it. Ultraviolet in particular was brilliant.

New album is ok. I really like the sorta Pink Floyd/Karma To Burn sounds of "Shaping the Southern Sky". There's some good stuff on the album but there's some drivel too. I think Laura should just do all the singing. Lastly, the cover of Paranoid is dreadful. They should've just done it at normal speed, trying to make is sound tripping and cool hasn't worked.
