Biography
There are several artists using the name Niko:
1) Niko is an American artist from Seattle/New York who now lives in the UK. Her second album 'Hate & Love' is out on ATIC Records June 25th 2012. Singles 'The Daddy Remix' and 'You're So Boring' precede it.
In 2004 she released an album on Grand Central Records, entitled "Life On Earth" . She is the touring vocalist for Aim. She has also made appearances on albums such as, Gripper "A Life of Consummate Ease" (ATIC Records out Feb 2009), Aim "Flight 602" (ATIC Records 2006), Mr. Scruff "Trouser Jazz" (Ninja Tune 2002), Only Child "Solitaire" (Grand Central Records 2003), ANDY "Clear Visions" (Wave Records 2001). In 2005 she co-founded ATIC Records in the UK. 2) Niko is one of many aliases of the Eurobeat artist Maurizio Di Jorio. Maurizio De Jorio was born in Trento, Italy. De Jorio became involved in mainstream musical production in the mid-1980s. Like most musicians in the Eurobeat genre, De Jorio has performed under a number of pseudonyms for various labels. He is most well known for his songs "Running in the 90's" and "Night of Fire". Both are being featured in the anime Initial D – of which both appearances (among other songs featured in the anime) has garnered incredible popularity for DeJorio and the eurobeat genre in general.
3) Niko is a pop Latvian singer who tried to represent Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 and 2014.
4) NIKO is an artist from the United States. He is the artist behind many bands(?), for example "The Sun The Moon The Stars". Check out http://www.nikoonline.com/ for more info.
5) Niko is the solo-project of Belgian artist Nikolaas Westelinck. In 1998 he released the album A.S.A.P. He also played drums in the band Spencer the Rover
6) Niko (Dutch) makes raw, danceable and slightly melancholic indie rock. The band switches between hooky riffs, catchy refrains and memorable, cynical lyrics which are presented with a high doses of slacker and irony. On stage the characteristic quartet delivers sex and entertainment with a certain form of blood on the pole.
7) Niko is a Brazilian mashuper with his songs and mashups on Soundcloud.
