There is more than one artist using this name.

1) Profusion is the collective efforts of Emeson and K15.
Music of the time.
Music of the soul.

2) The name "Profusion" (a combination of “Progressive” and “Fusion”) was given to the band only at the end of 2002, after a year has already passed since the creation of “Mardi Gras Experience”, the first musical cell (Vladimer Sichinava / drums, Gionatan Caradonna / keyboards, Marco Pieri / bass, a trio clearly influenced by Dream Theater). During the first year, the line-up of the trio grows up, due to the new entry of the guitarist Alberto Riggi, who gives his help for the composition of more complete songs. The need to give a vocal expression to the mute musical projects brings the singer Alessandro Buzzo within the line-up in autumn 2002, immediately before the recording session of the first demo-album (“Una Sera a Samperbuio”) that was finished in December 2002.

As soon as the demo has been completed, “Profusion” begin working on new material that goes increasingly developing into complex songs, really different from those included in the album. In the meanwhile, an interesting but limited “live” activity makes Profusion’s music to be known within the musical horizon of the Valdelsa area, where the group is still active. In 2003, the flutist Fabiano Biagini enters the line-up, and the presence of a flute enriches the sound of the group, creating reminiscences of the 60-70ies prog-rock. With an original and complex quantity of music, in July 2004 Profusion enter the studios to record their first full-leght album; anyway, a lot of problems and difficulties make the session pretty long and exhausting. “One Piece Puzzle” is finished only in 2006, after 2 years; personal reasons and other interests push Marco Pieri (bass) and Fabiano Biagini (flute) to leave the band. Nowadays, Profusion have returned to rehearse with a new line-up (Luca Cambi / bass and Sara Pianigiani / Flute) and enthusiasm.
