Biography
Re1ikt are the pioneers of Belarusian post-metal. In their music they also combine such genres as progressive metal, art-rock with big influence of Belarussian folk music. Re1ikt produces unique sound, recoding and performing live with only traditional rock music instrumentation. At the live performances Re1ikt resorts to some improvisations, thus varying the powerful drive of their compositions. By now, Re1ikt has managed to share the stage with a lot of famous bands among which are Lyapis Trubetskoy, Agatha Christie, Troitsa, Vopli Vidoplyasova, Zdob si Zdub and others; took part in festivals in Poland, Ukraine and Belarus (Basowiscza, Bee Free, Jesien Bardow, «Дах», Before Basowiscza, Heavy Mass Medium, “Нёманскі кРок”).
Re1ikt performed in such projects and contests as “No more sound” (the UN campaign against domestic violence), «Ночь Музеев» (“Museum Night”), Jesien Bardow - 2009 (Grand Prix), «Музыкальный Спарринг – 2»
The band has 3 studio albums: “Reki prabiłi liod” ( “Vigma”, 2011), «Клиника» (“Clinic”) (Go Records, 2009) and Единице`s (Self-released, 2005); has 4 video clips, they released live-DVD and acoustic compilations.
