It was reissued as a digipak CD by Urubuz Records. Torsten Hartmann produced this album. Matt Burr was also a producer and he engineered & mixed it. Gerhard Magin did engineering and mixing too. Matt Burr dedicated this album to his brother.

Sickening Gore was an old school death metal band from Zurich, Switzerland that released only one album called Destructive Reality. The last label they were signed to was Massacre Records. Their lyrical themes included death, corruption and politics. Their last known line-up consisted of Matt Burr on vocals & guitar, Alex Burr on guitars, Danny Büsch on bass and Chris Huwiler on drums. Nenad Đukić was a vocalist, he's the only past member of Sickening Gore. Originally called Reactor they recorded the demo "The Tribunal Above" in 1991.
