"Raining In My Heart" is a song by the Irish band The Cranberries. It appears on their 6th studio album "Roses".

According to Dolores O’Riordan, this song was written in an airplane in 2003 and recorded the same year with Stephen Street on a demo EP; at the time, some sources referred to the song as “Raining In My Hart”. This demo has never been heard.
Rerecorded in 2011 at the Metalworks Studios, Toronto, Raining In My Heart was described as a “reggae infused” song by Cooking Vinyl in October 2011.
On December 23d, 2011 a preview of this song was put online on the Australian iTunes store along with the other tracks of Roses.
Raining In My Heart was played live for the first time during Soundcheck (WNYC 93.9 FM) on February 8th, 2012.
Raining In My Heart was played live in concert for the first time in Auckland (New-Zealand) during the Roses Tour on March 15th, 2012.

O'Riordan explained in an interview given to Q that the song was written when she had to leave her children to go on tour with the band in 2003.
