Biography
Forged in 2007, The Water Fox was birthed in a seedy, decrepit, and dangerous part of Phoenix, Arizona. The suburb known as Ahwatukee. After experimenting in an underground secret project known as Excommunicate You! Four members decided to take their "radical ideas" and "dangerous mantra" to the public. The group faced much dissent in their early days. In the summer the group was forced out of "The Jazz Shack" and was never allowed to play the venue again. One elderly audience member complained, "Jordan, you need to play music people can dance to. People like to dance". Still the group forged ahead and was able to record a four song demo at the luxurious Love Juice Labs recording studio. After a long and arduous 6-hour recording session The Water Fox began performing shows throughout the valley. Opening for such bands as Foxy Shazam, Heavy Heavy Low Low, Fear Before, Oh, Sleeper, and War From a Harlots Mouth. The Water Fox became known for an irreverent and often silly approach to the hardcore/grindcore/applecore genre. Alas, in 2009 the members decided it was time to bury The Water Fox under the millions of dollars they made during the course of the band. The four members branched off in different directions. one traveled the world going to such exotic places as India, and Tennessee. Another pursued music in the band POEM and his solo project. Another has released his own EP on internet. Another went to ASU. And that is the end of the story…
