Yoooo hahah heck yeah. Yeah I've been working at times on like a 100-page "How to get into Springsteen" guide lmaooo like a choose your own adventure based on what songs/albums one likes ANYWAYSS in that spirit I'd say for stuff most similar to the rockers on Born in the U.S.A. I'd spend more time w/ The River (which I see you've checked out a bit), I think Magic has some bangers tbh, and for similar 80s pop vibes I'd check out some of the BitUSA outtakes like My Love Will Not Let You Down, Janey Don't You Lose Heart, Shut Out the Light, Cynthia if we ignore the lyrics lmao. Brothers Under the Bridges ('83) for sure. And it's not on Spotify or streaming services but the unreleased bootleg song Protection will blow your mind lmao - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMIs8Y23mBc . I think his BEST albums are BTR, Darkness, TOL, Magic, and WIESS but going for BitUSA-adjacent recs cuz you've scrobbled that the most.

And Tunnel of Love is def more stripped-down than BitUSA overall (other than "Spare Parts" which is an absolute banger) but if you like the like chill 80s pop vibes of I'm On Fire or My Hometown then TOL def provides that a lot. A lot of the appeal for TOL is the lyrics/themes but some musical standouts that could get you into it would be Tougher Than the Rest, the title track, and Brilliant Disguise, and again Spare Parts is an absolute banger

i highly recommend them! possibly the most obscure act on sire records where depeche mode and the smiths were on during the 80s, but i love them more and more as time goes on

i would say cerulean is their opus, their singer has said the album was more production based than song based and it shows ! most definitely my favorite by them and the one that deserved to hit the mainstream..... as for the wrong child i love that song so much, i'd say its the highlight off Green for me
