Hello just passing by your shoutbox to ask you : have you ever listened to Ehnahre? Considering all those places where I saw you (Albert Ayler's shoutbox, Khanate's shoutbox, ....) I think you might have the patience to appreciate their music. It's roughly said a Death/Doom Metal who took its inspiration from the twelve tone system of Arnold Schoenberg's serialism combined with Free Jazz expressionism, creating a genre of viceral and grotesque atonal Metal. Their band is partially composed of former Kayo Dot members. They got a new album coming up in late spring.

the hotelier's album this year is great. it's my favorite emo album from this year and foxing's was my favorite of last year. the world is nice too but from what i remember, they do too many post-rock musical tropes that it sort of makes me less interested in them. still good though!

okay! i remember we talked about Peste Noire before, but i don't remember how you felt about them. their most recent album (s/t) has been treating me well lately. the Curved Air album 'Second Album' is very fun and catchy, almost like a more accessible Brainticket. it might be too poppy for you, though. The Gories was a cool find: their album 'I Know You Fine, but How You Doin' is good, like Jimi Hendrix mixed with METZ-style noise rock. Timeghoul was interesting. very experimental death metal with doom and industrial influences, very unique atmosphere. Lastly, I found an album by The Tiger Lillies based on William Shakespeare's "HAMLET". very catchy and fun, especially in light of my digging deep into the role. their album based on the Threepenny Opera (cleverly called 'The Twopenny Opera') is fun for similar reasons, and the music might be even better on that one. hope this helps! happy listening! greetings from AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
